19/52

Tate has his own style, it's a very defined style and if I buy him something he doesn't like he won't wear it!!!
Skinny jeans, purple -tshirts or button up shirts, flat caps or snap backs, hi tops or vans and now sunnies!

Damon on the other hand it normal jeans and normal t-shirts kinda kid, no fancy patterns just plain and simple and his sneakers.

Ethan is still at the point where he will wear whatever I give him!!! I love that!!

A little bit about ME!

This is a photo my youngest brother took of me. No one often takes photos of me which is probably why I take a lot of "selfies". I am concentrating really hard on my sons soccer game, probably trying to work out the off side rule!! (Just when I think I understand it BAM I'm confused again!)

Having started Marathon Monday again I thought this would be the ideal time for me to start a before and after. This is the before, and once my Marathon is completed I will do the after! To compare not only my appearance but also the way I am feeling etc.

BEFORE:

I weight 12.2kg more than I want to!!! And no I'm not confident enough yet to tell you what I weight now or what my goal weight is. Hopefully this will happen when I have lost a little weight.

When I started my Marathon Training 2 weeks ago I weighed 17.2 kg more than I wanted to!! I have lost 5kg in the first two weeks!! And that makes me want to run more! It is definitely helps motivate me when I'm really just not feeling it!!!

Stay tuned for the AFTER post and photos in September!! And maybe some progress pictures along the way!!

18/52

This weekend marked the beginning of our CRAZY winter sports schedule!!
The only way it's going to work is if I have help from my mum and mother in law!
I just cant be in 3 places at once!
Ethan's games start at 9.30am - 10.30am
Damon's games start at 10.40am - 11.50am
Tate's games start at 12pm - 1.30pm
So I'm hoping Damon and Ethan can get some Friday night games to thin out my chaotic Sundays

Tate kicked 2 goals!

Damon plays school footy on Saturdays and kicked 4 goals
and club footy on Sundays and kicked 1 goal

Ethan is much more confident this year and had more touches in
his 1st game this year than he did all of last season!

Marathon Monday

WEEK 2 RESULTS
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 4.8km - Ran 5km
Wednesday: 4.8km - No Run

Friday: Rest
Saturday: Cross Train - Ran 10.5km no Cross Train
Sunday: 11.2km - Ran 11.5km
Total: 24km - Ran 27km

I am pretty happy with this weeks effort considering I was sick Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Thinking I was better, I laced up Saturday morning ready to smash 10km to catch up, I ran 10.5km but holey moley it hurt. It hurt like it's never hurt before. I got a high stitch about 4km in and it stayed the entire rest of my run. My uncle always tells me to "RUN THROUGH THE PAIN" so that is exactly what I did!!

After being sick I decided it wouldn't hurt to add some extra supplements to my diet. This is my latest addition! Can't hurt right??

So let's get Week 3 started now that I am feeling much better.
WEEK 3
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 4.8km
Wednesday: 6.4km
Thursday: 4.8km

Marathon Monday

I survived my the first week!

Which sounds easy BUT it's week 2 of school holidays here in Adelaide and also the week my older 2 boys are off at their dads. So I have Ethan home with me all alone and that makes it a touch harder to keep him occupied while I run.

And it's been raining! Now I love running in the rain but Ethan doesn't love sitting in the rain watching me run!!

Thank goodness for my mum and her treadmill!!!

I have done my 3 week day runs on my mum's treadmill so that Ethan can watch telly while I run!

Jumping from 4.8km to 9.6km was as hard as it sounded! But I guess I better get used to it as it's only gonna get harder!!! Bring it on I say!!

I feel really good about this week and am still riding high on the excitement of it all.

WEEK 1 RESULTS
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 4.8km - Ran 5km
Wednesday: 4.8km - Ran 5km
Thursday: 4.8km - Ran 5km
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Cross Train - 20 min Stairs climb
Sunday: 9.6km - Ran 10km
Total: 24km - Ran 25km

WEEK 2
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 4.8km
Wednesday: 4.8km
Thursday: 4.8km
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Cross Train
Sunday: 11.2km
Total: 25.6km

One thing that did bother me was the "not quite whole kilometres", I can't wrap my head around the running 4.8km instead of 5km, so I think I will be rounded them up to the closest half kilometre.
