Nuffnang Blogopolis 2012

I am MORE than a little excited that I am heading to Sydney at the end of June for this year's Nuffnang Blogopolis.

My mum and I are heading to Sydney together on the friday morning. So far our plan is to go shopping in the city on the friday. Then on the Saturday while I'm at the conference mum will be spending the day with her best friend, who just happens to live in Sydney. Then Sunday before we head home we are planning on some more shopping and lunch.

I remember looking at everyone's Intagram photo's and blog posts last year and told I told my husband "I'm so going to that next year", so when I found out that the tickets had been released and I mentioned it to him, his response was "So you bought your ticket then?". I hadn't but jumped online and bought it straight away!! And have been super excited ever since!!!

So with only 33 days to I am getting more and more excited. I keep checking the atendees list and adding people to list of bloggers I would love to meet! It's funny I read so many of thier blogs and kinda feel like I know them a little.
So if your going to be there and you happen to see me please come and say "Hi", I'll be the nervous one!!

And I promise to take lots of photos and a write a couple of posts to tell you all about it!!

If your going or have been in there past I would love to here your tips and things I should take with me.

Just Crazy by Andy Griffiths

Pencil of Doom by Andy Griffiths

We would love to hear some of you children's favourite books, Tate might find some new ones.

Can I rewind and pretend last week didn't happen???? Oh wait it didn't!!

I was really sik last week and didn't get out of the house for 1 run!! Not 1! I know, I know......totally disappointing but I have a really good excuse I promise! I had a sinus infection and my whole head ached and felt like it was going to explode! Cold air just seemed to make it worse. So no running from me last week.

So this weeks plan will be exactly what I had planned last week! Funny that!!
I am feeling much better, health wise and am using my running this week as a plan to vent my frustrations and clear my head!! I need it already!!!

Wednesday: 8.5km
Thursday: 10km
Friday: 11km

Marathon Monday - Week 3

Well hello there, great to see you back!!

Week Two really sucked! Sorry but it did!!!

I was going well with the running then on Thursday morning I got the headache from hell. The entire left side of my head and face were so sore. It got so bad that the vision from my left eye was blurry!! Panadol and Nurofen weren't helping so I toddled off to the chemist thursday night and grabbed soemthing a little stronger. This helped a little but not much really. Anyway, this lovely headache hung around until saturday afternoon.

So I didn't run from Wednesday night!!! See this week really did suck!

Friday Favourites - Facebook Pages

Anyone who knows me knows that I may have a little addiction to Facebook and Instagram and generally anything to do with my iPhone!!!

So that being said, here are some of the many Facebook pages I love!!! In no particular order of course!!

Tori Spelling

Ok so I know some of you are probably thinking I'm nuts but really I'm not. I have just started reading her books and I am actually quite enjoying them. And I really didn't think I would!!
Check her out, you may even like her too!

Charlie Hunnan - Sons of Anarchy

I really don't anything needs to be said about this one!!! I love the show and he is just one of the most gorgeous guys around! There are lots of lovely pics of him to look at!!! YUM!! :)

TYPO
Hi, my name is Erika and I am addicted to Typo!
I love stationary and this is my new favourite shop. The thing I love about this facebook page is that each day they give you journal prompts and inspiration. LOVE!!

Private Practice
This had to be one of my favourite shows and each week it gives you a sneak peek at the episode about to be aired in the US! There are also cast interviews and live chats!! So much to see!

Patricia Cornwell
My favourite author. I love her books and how real and factual (I hope that's a word!) they are. When she is writing a new book she post updates on her facebook page and where she is, what she's researching etc. I love seeing how she does it and how long the whole process takes.

Do you have any favourite Facebook pages I should check out??

Don't forget to join me next week. The topic is: Songs
